A dedicated and safety-conscious flight instructor with a passion for helping others take to the skies. With a focus on skill development and confidence-building, I enjoy guiding aspiring pilots through the fundamentals of flight, ensuring they gain both knowledge and experience in a safe and supportive environment.

I started flying in 2000. About a year after I obtained my Private Pilot, I became a pilot for the Civil Air Patrol. I have worked my way up to being an instructor pilot and a check pilot for CAP. For me, one of the best rewards from instructing is when I see the lightbulb go on in a student's head when all of their hard work comes together and they change who they are as a pilot.

I began my flying career by learning to fly in a Cessna 150 on cold and snowy runways at an uncontrolled airport in New Hampshire. Joining the Navy through NROTC, I really learned about flying, including aircraft carrier operations on active and reserve duty. Today, I enjoy flying and instructing in club aircraft, combining my early training with military experience to share my passion for aviation with others.
